In this definitive classic, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge despises Christmas until visited by ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Confronted with his selfishness and its consequences, he reforms, embracing generosity, love, and the true meaning of universal brotherhood.

IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, starring James Stewart and Donna Reed. In perhaps the most popular of all Winter and Christmas-time films, George Bailey, despairing over financial ruin, contemplates suicide. Guided by his guardian angel, he sees how his life profoundly impacted others, realising his worth and choosing hope, love, and community over despair.
