Dear Residents,
Most of you know Arjun as the Director of the Red House, and someone who speaks passionately about gothic architecture, physics, philosophy and travel. But before all that came, painting was where he first found life’s answers.
This weekend, we’re opening ‘ONE DAY AT A TIME’, an exhibition that gathers every major work Arjun has created over the past decade in oils, watercolours, inks and acrylics, including a piece he has spent five years completing.

Arjun's first public solo exhibition was in 2014; whereafter he painted on and off and on again for more than a decade now. Most recently having finished a work that has taken him five whole years to accomplish, he has evolved and morphed and become unrecognisable to himself through all this while, taking up this past year, as absolutely as he's been able to, the philosophy of radically living in the present.
For the first time in front of the Red House Residents, we are exhibiting ALL of his major works. Arjun will also be announcing his Manifesto for a new, and what we think the only possibly honest, way an artist can work today - one which fairly and squarely appreciates the very real unpredictability of life.

There will be of course be delicious hot chocolate on the opening, as we celebrate also the inauguration with this exhibition of the Red House hall as a private gallery and on much popular demand, the Red House internship programme.
Email us at [email protected] to register. Entry's free but RSVP fast!
Warmly,
Sunaina Jain
