Dear Residents,
Step into the enchanting world of the Mughal atelier and discover the delicate art that adorns the Taj Mahal — Pietra Dura, or marble inlay, locally known as pachchikari. Join us at Red House on December 1st for a hands-on workshop that offers a rare opportunity to learn this timeless craft.

The Marble Inlay Workshop, will begin with a morning session (10 AM–1 PM), where attendees will be introduced to the technique through a guided, hands-on training segment, where they’ll start crafting their own marble coasters. Following a one-hour lunch break (1 PM–2 PM) — with the option of bringing vegetarian food from home or purchasing meals from the Red House café — the afternoon session (2 PM–5 PM) will focus on advanced techniques, helping participants refine and complete their projects under expert guidance.
Let us take care of all the materials — you just focus being transported to the grandeur of Mughal artistry.
