New Post

Dear Residents,

There are some experiences in life so vivid, so fleeting, yet so powerful, they stay with us forever. A first monsoon shower after a scorching Delhi summer. The sound of someone strumming chords, carried softly by the night air. The smell of chai with adrak and elaichi on a winter morning.

They cannot be replicated, nor easily explained, and yet they quietly become the foundations of our very meaning of life.

This Sunday, in the birthday month of Rumi, we return to the spirit of the adda — that timeless gathering under a tree, in a courtyard, or over endless cups of chai across this subcontinent. Together, we will speak of Enchantment — those shimmering, heart-stirring moments that escape reason but make us feel most alive.
A sunset.
A stranger’s kindness.
A line of poetry.
The laughter of a friend.

This Sunday, let’s explore where do we still find enchantment in today’s rushed, rational world? What would it mean to live more enchanted lives, even now, in these disenchanted times?

Guiding this adda will be author of works on divination, the history of astrology, J.R.R. Tolkien, metaphor, and environmental philosophy, Dr. Patrick Curry . Editor of The Ecological Citizen, he champions the idea of radical nostalgia: remembering not to retreat into the past, but to strengthen what is still worth preserving today.
