A new month began today, bringing with it the opportunity to register for monthly classes at Red House! We are pleased to announce the carrying out of 6 different regular classes for the month of April. To be held at the Red House premises in Okhla, these beginner-friendly classes kick off this weekend, with each class offering you a chance to learn a unique set of skills in an immersive environment.

KALARIPAYATT(U) - SATURDAYS

Did you know that in India, in Kerala, in the form of Kalaripayatt(u) we have had one of the most ancient martial arts still in existence, and practice, today? You have perhaps seen it in a documentary sometime, and marvelled at the supreme yet delicate elegance of the practitioners, often with quite formidable weaponry. This April, experience this ancient Indian martial art that blends strength, agility, and meditation at Red House.

FINANCIAL LITERACY - SATURDAYS

What better time to join financial literacy classes than the beginning of the new financial year? After a wonderful first month in February, where we began from the beginning, and gradually understood the fundamental importance of making investments, and the various financial instruments available to us to do so - in particular short-term investment in the stock market, we're back again this April with Part II (the course is designed for absolute beginners as well)!

ELEMENTS OF DRAWING - SATURDAYS

Our signature always-full-house workshop is now being turned into regular classes! We’ll get to be exploring ALL of John Ruskin’s Elements of Drawing now. No matter your experience or inexperience in drawing, over a month of Ruskin’s lessons, and you will learn how to see, and how to draw what you see, and then see again. A couple more months - and you'll be able to draw ANYTHING that you see!

DRUM CIRCLE - SATURDAYS

This April, let the beat of drums echo in your chest and awaken your soul! Not just frame drums, learn how to play djembes, tambourines and rattles with Red House’s community members. The energy of a drum circle is healing, liberating, and electrifying!

STONE SCULPTURE - SUNDAYS

Ever wanted to transform raw stone into a stunning piece of art? Stone Sculpture classes at Red House are back - where you’ll be learning the timeless art of sculpting black marble. Whether you're a beginner or have dabbled in sculpture before, this is your chance to chisel, carve, and bring your creative vision to life!

CROCHET - SUNDAYS

With summers coming up, these classes are the perfect chance to learn how to crochet your own crop tops, bralettes, jewellery, plush toys, mesh skirt, bandanas, handbags ! You will be mastering skills like working with a crochet hook, maintaining the tension with the yarn, understanding how to read patterns, and learning how to weave in ends for a polished finish. By the end of the course, you will gained the skills and confidence to pursue future projects independently !
