Dear Residents,
Have you ever wanted to see the world through Van Gogh’s eyes? The way he transformed a simple flower into a work of beauty? This Sunday at Red House, we invite you to do just that. By popular demand, our Impasto Workshop inspired by Van Gogh is returning for the fourth time!

What’s in store?
- A hands-on session where you’ll learn the impasto technique (laying paint so thick that it lifts off the canvas) just as Van Gogh did.
- The chance to create your own floral oil painting in Van Gogh’s expressive style.
- A Red House-style introduction to Van Gogh’s turbulent life, artistic obsessions, and the genius behind his sun-drenched masterpieces.
Whether you’re an experienced painter or just curious to try something new, this workshop is designed to be accessible, inspiring, and deeply rewarding. If Van Gogh taught us anything, it’s that art is not just what hangs on a wall, it’s how we feel, how we see, and how we connect. No need to bring anything, all art materials you will be requiring during the workshop, will be provided by us!
The workshop will be guided by Arjun Shivaji Jain, Director of Red House and a graduate of Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London.
When: Sunday, 24th August, 1pm to 3.30pm
Where: Red House, B203, Okhla-1
Early Bird Offer: ₹1350 (first 10 registrations only)
Regular Fee: ₹1450 (after early bird spots are gone)

Also, do click this link, and check out snippets from our last event: a Salon on the Inner Child. Here, we shared stories of fear, play, and second childhoods, reminding ourselves of the joy in solitude, shamelessness, and self-love. Online or offline, Red House’ community lives on.
We can’t wait to paint with you!
