Dear Residents,
This winter, Red House is opening its doors to a small cohort of interns for a short, intensive, studio-led programme. Designed as an apprenticeship rather than a corporate internship, this experience is inspired by the energy of the great studios of Picasso, the Bauhaus, and Andy Warhol, and apprentices selected to be part of the programme will learn through proximity, practice, and by being inside a bold and unafraid cultural space.
Applications are now open to those who feel aligned!

As an apprentice, you will learn how an artist builds a body of work and a public presence, how exhibitions are prepared, how programs are produced through to execution, how a cultural space survives and thrives, and most importantly discipline, taste, responsibility and studio-ethics. You will receive direct mentorship, free access to Red House programmes, a certificate upon completion, and real, portfolio-worthy experience.
Your background or field of study won’t matter here; what will matter is that you are comfortable with both creative and manual tasks, and are respectful of craft - and, of course, you understand what we’re trying to do at Red House.
Duration of the apprenticeship: January and February 2026
Know more and apply here: https://forms.gle/8bgvZLo7AeqsUuFGA
Deadline: 5pm, December 19th
If you’re curious, committed, and ready to show up, we’d like to meet you! Apply before time’s up!
Warmly,
Sunaina Jain
