New Post

Dear Residents,

This mid-May, we invite you to join us in celebrating the women who dared to write their own stories — on screen, on paper, and in history. From iconic characters to real-life trailblazers, this is a tribute to those who redefined what it means to be seen and heard.

FILM SCREENING | Breakfast at Tiffany’s
May 16 | 6:30pm to 9pm | ₹350 per attendee

Come, fall in love with Audrey Hepburn all over again. This timeless classic introduces us to Holly Golightly, a charming, mysterious New York socialite who drifts through parties and admirers, hiding her vulnerability beneath a glamorous exterior. But when a struggling writer moves into her building, secrets surface, and both must confront the true meaning of love, freedom, and belonging. A bittersweet tale of identity, desire, and emotional awakening.

Screening to be followed with a discussion with Arjun Shivaji Jain, Director of Red House.

THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE | Barnoporichoy
May 17 | 7pm to 8pm | ₹500 per attendee

Solo theatre extraordinaire Shruti Ghosh returns to Red House, this time weaving together the lives of 35 remarkable women from the book ‘Ubacho’. From housewives and writers to activists and artists — each of these women defied social norms to claim their own form of freedom. The title plays on the Bangla words ‘Borno’ (letter, skin, caste) and ‘Porichoy’ (identity), capturing the layered struggles for recognition and selfhood.

To register for either the film or the performance, or both, send an email to [email protected] at the earliest. Limited seats available.
