Who out of us doesn’t love a good drama ? The kind that grips your soul, sparks your imagination, and keeps you on the edge of your seat? At Red House, we’re bringing the magic of live theatre to Okhla with our the second edition of Red House Theatre Festival on January 11th and 12th !

Festival Schedule:
January 11 - Rs 449 per day pass (participants will be able to watch any or all of the plays with the same pass on this day)
1. THE FIRE-BORN PRINCESS - a drama in Hindi by ‘Create Room For Artists’
Synopsis: Thirty-six years after the Mahabharata war, Draupadi ascends the Himalayas with the Pandavas, reflecting on her tumultuous life. Confronting her husbands, and Karna, Bhishma, and Drupad for their betrayals, she wrestles with anger and vengeance. Ultimately, Draupadi embraces forgiveness as true righteousness, finding peace and closure in her final moments amidst the icy expanse of the Himalayas.
2. ”YOUR HONOR, I’D LIKE TO CALL… MYSELF” - a dark comedy in Hinglish by Ankit Satti
Synopsis: A nameless lawyer traverses time in a shifting courtroom temple, throne, lab, battlefield—exploring history, myth, and human flaws. Blending humor with introspection, the play weaves contemporary issues like climate change and social isolation with ancient wisdom. In the end, the courtroom becomes a mirror, and the lawyer challenges the audience: “Who will defend you when your story is questioned?”

1. GET MEOWT OF HER - an absurd comedy in Hinglish by Urvashi Bohra
Synopsis: Reena buys a house in Delhi, but her happiness is overshadowed by societal pressure to marry. Experiencing paranormal cat activity, she seeks help from Jassi, who plays a broker, psychic, and more. Rejecting his manipulative marriage proposal, she discovers that the haunting—and even the ghost cat—was Jassi’s elaborate ploy to gaslight her into settling for him.
2. Aab-E-Hayat - a mystery/fantasy drama in Hindi by ‘Natakwala’
Synopsis: Dr. Ghosh invites his old friends to test ‘Aab-e-Hayat’, an elixir of youth, promising a second chance at life. They vow to avoid past mistakes but discover the complexities of regained youth. The play delves into themes of time, desire, greed, and the unforeseen consequences of revisiting life’s choices through a scientific experiment.
